If direct Android streaming is not supported by your hearing aids or Android smartphone, you can use the Beltone Phone Link 2 to stream sound. The Beltone Phone Link 2 enables you to connect your Beltone hearing aids to any Bluetooth v.2.0 Android device. Phone Link 2 requires Android devices running OS 2.3.5 or later and Bluetooth v.2.0, with functionality verified on selected devices from HTC, Huawei, LG, Motorola, Samsung and Sony.
The Beltone HearMax™ app is optimized for iOS 12 or later is required. HearMax app is compatible with Apple Watch, but app must be installed on the user's iPhone as well. Requires Watch OS 5.
The app is only available for download on the devices mentioned above. Each sub-variant of the phones listed above, is modified by the local carrier in each country and we cannot guarantee direct compatibility for these.
If you already have one of the sub-variants and a working direct connection to your hearing aids, we advise you not to upgrade to Android OS 8 or later at the moment.
We recommend that your Android mobile device runs Android OS version 8 or later. Your hearing aids may need to be updated to the latest firmware to work with the app. This update can be done by your hearing care professional.
